INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTRE
The Kenyatta International Conference Centre
(KICC) is established as a State Corporation under the State Corporation Act
Cap 446 to discharge the following mandates: Promote and market conference
tourism locally and internationally; Monitor the quality and standard of
conference facilities and advice both private and public investors on
improvement of such facilities; Plan and implement the expansion and
modernization of existing conference facilities and develop new ones; and carry
out any other mandate relevant to its principal mandate.
KICC is in the process of recruiting suitable
persons and invites applications for the posts indicated below:
i. Applicants should be computer literate to be
able to work in a highly computerized environment.
ii. Applicants should be self driven, highly
motivated, energetic and team players.
iii. Applicants should have excellent oral and

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER (1 POST)
DESCRIPTION OF KEY DUTIES:
Ensure procurement of goods
and services is done in accordance with KICC’s procurement policies
Assist in the management of
the procurement budget in accordance with the KICC’s overall business
Participate in the annual
pre-qualification of suppliers of goods and services
Participate in the process of procurement of plant
equipment, goods and services
Coordinate the preparation,
circulation and evaluation of tenders in liaison with the relevant
departments and tender committee
Ensure that the Corporation
gets value for money through procurement of high quality goods and
Participate in the
verification and disposal of surplus and obsolete stores
Ensure that maximum safety
and security conditions in stores are maintained
Management of existing and new contracts
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the ideal
Bachelor of Commerce/Supplies/Economics
Higher Diploma, Certified Institute of Purchasing
and Supplies CIPS (Final) in Purchasing and Supplies.
Compliant to the Supplies Practioners’ Management
Member Kenya Institute of Supplies Management
Knowledge and skills in Public Procurement
in a reputable firm
Three (3) years working experience with at
least one (1) year in the similar position
ASSISTANT SECURITY & SAFETY MANAGER (1 POST)
1. Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring the KICC premises (property, tenants,
guests and staff) are well guarded.
Give support in the development and
implementation of the Corporations disaster preparedness strategies and
Implement crime preventive and detection
Carry out investigations on all incidents of
security nature and file reports
Ensure that all security machines and
equipment are in good working condition
Coordinate the work of the outsourced security
Work with security manager to enforce safety measures
and discipline through strict controls and sensitization programs
Assist the Security and Safety Manager in
Ensure effectiveness of CCTV surveillance process.
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or relevant
Diploma in criminology
Sergeant or equivalent
Excellent Computer skills
Conversant with CCTV surveillance systems
Crime detection and investigation skills.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (1 POST)
3. DESCRIPTION OF KEY DUTIES:
Ensure transactions are
posted to the relevant books of accounts on a daily basis.
Reconciliation of all
bank accounts within stipulated time frame.
Maintaining a fixed
Generate monthly Departmental expenditure
of Management accounts (P & L, Cash flow)
and report on all company revenue on a monthly and periodic basis
Review and update financial transactions
Maintain, Establish and coordinate the
implementation of accounting and control procedures
Resolving accounting discrepancies
B.Com (Accounting/ Finance) or business related
CPA (finalist) or its equivalent
Ability to work in a team Interpersonal
