The Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) was established as a State Corporation through the KICC Order, 2004 contained in Kenya Gazette Supplement No. 45, Legislative Supplement No. 26 (Legal Notice No. 77) dated 9th July 2004.

To promote and market conference tourism both locally and internationally;
To monitor the quality and standard of conference facilities and advice both private and public investors on improvement of such facilities;
To plan and implement the expansion and modernization of existing conference facilities and develop new ones
